IMPORTANT FYI REGARDING THE CRUZ TOOLS KIT!

All,

THIS IS IMPORTANT! The spark plug socket that is included with the metric cruz tools kit WILL NOT fit the plugs on your Triumph. Everything else in the kit is fine, just that plug socket.

YOU NEED AN 18mm DEEP SOCKET TO REMOVE THE PLUGS.

This is not that type of thing you want to find out while on the side of the road, or at a gas station in Monterrey, Mexico!

I post this because many people, like myself, purchase the CruzTools kit along with their FREAK. Better go spend the $1.25 on a deep socket now and replace the standard socket that's in it now.

X

Yeah, I scammed my spark plug tool from a Triumph dealership, I was also quite annoyed when I payed a handsome for that soft-pouch tool kit, and realized that the spark plug socket didn't fit!

well at least it was an easy swap... I already have a socket, so maybe one day when I get a tool kit I'll be all set!

I just ended up cannibalizing the stuff in the soft-pouch tool kit to put into that freak toolbox. It's amazing how much different stuff you can get into that toolbox, if you arrange everything just so...

Monterrey, Mexico is beautiful this time of year. They even have a Triumph dealer in Monterrey;-).
I agree, proper tools are important any time you are away from home.
