Altough I haven't been able to make it for the last couple of years. The Friday the 13th is in July this year. The wife and I are going and getting a room nearby.

Looks like I'm going....I have a red/black SM with red/black bags...should be parked on the main drag somewhere as I plan on getting there early. Keep in mind guys...if you don't get there early, chances are by mid day, you will be in a very long lineup out on the Highway.

Just had a phone call from my friend in London and he says the bikes are rolling into Port Dover past his house fast and furiously. He even open the window and held the phone out and all I could hear was the growls of Harleys. He has asked us over for next year 13th June 2008 and it will probably be a big one as that is the only Friday 13th for next year, so hopefully see you guys there. Just need some wheels now

Hi Ray...I think there was more than that...I've never seen it so busy there. I arrived at 7am & the main street was already filling up. By 10am you couldn't move there...walking became a chore of not stepping on each others feet. By noon the crowds got to me & I bailed. The weather held out...usually rains on most Friday the 13ths. There's always one eh...some guy riding through town in nothing but a G string..that was good for a laugh I did see a couple of new Bonnies & 1 Red America there...talked to a guy with a R3...I'm sure I missed others, as it was a constant stream of bikes coming into town, but mostly Harleys. Just wish I liked crowds more

I've been looking for some kind of "official" count but haven't been able to find anything yet. When I was there I did talk to some of the OPP and they said anywhere from 100k-150k. That's huge for a town of 4,500.

I got my information in a telephone call yesterday off my mate in London, who said it had just been announced on the local radio, but 135,000 for such a little place is fantastic and next year I will be attending. Already booked the flights and I think they are pretty cheap direct from Manchester to Toronto including taxes etc is only just over £200.00 each that works out around $400.00 CAD.
We arrive on the 9th June and return home on the 22nd..
