Anyone have suggestions for replacing 2005 America stock tail and brake lights with LED units. I'm looking for something much more visible than stock.

What I use: LED Tail lightIt's Plug n Play, but I modified it by adding some bright white LEDs to illuminate the license plate.

Easiest way'd be to get something like this
from an electronics shop, hot-glue it to the top of the module, and connect it into the tail-light & earth wires.
In Australia you can get them from Jaycar Electronics. I used the one with the 5 leds.

Nice, Matt.
My method wasn't as elegant. Three superbright LEDs (with built in resistors) soldered to the "always on" 12v part of the ciruit board (listed above). I used a piece of milk jug plastic to keep them aimed up at the plate.
So, I have a very brite brake light that flashes and a well lit plate.

We all like to think of ourselves as rugged individualists. But when push comes to shove most of us are sheep who do what we are told. Worst of all, a lot of us become unpaid agents of whoever is controlling the agenda by enforcing the current dogma on the few rugged individualists who actually exist.
