Hey gang,
Slow morning here at the office so I thought I'd post up.
I've got this old Blazer 250 SS and I'm trying to decide how
I want to fix it up. So I thougt I'd seek input from the group. I'm the second owner and it's only got 4800 miles on it. Heck, the orange and black paint is still pretty ok.
I had a tag on it and rode it to work 2 years ago.
I know these are not the most collectable Trumps in the stable and I'm not crazy about the high, dirt bike style
exhaust. So, do I strip it down to the frame and rebuild it
to original anyway, or as a cafe racer, or swap the engine
for a BSA B50?, etc. You get the idea.
What'cha think guys?
Eric

it depends on what you would want to do with something that small. maybe restore it to origial would be cool and add some value to it.

I think there's the custom camp, the original camp, and the fix it to ride it camp. I'm more in the last, with leanings to the second. I know the machine you have. It's a nice bike for tooling around the trails. Low end grunt and will still run you around town. The Brooklands style muffler grows on you, and I think it has oil-in-frame, which is also ok. For what it's worth, I vote for stock.
