My brother just got a yamaha xs1100 1979 model. He got a lot of extra parts with it. In a box was a shim kit for the bike. I know that v-max shims are the same as ours, but what about these? I could ak the Yamaha dealer in my area if they are the same as the v-max but I trust the people on this board WAY MORE than the Yamaha guys.
