Not one of my allen wrench's fit in the end cap of my OEM grips. Can anyone tell me what size I need?

OK, another question. As you can see by the image below, the ISO 6236 grips that I purchased for my speedy are longer than the OEM. How is this going to work?

The left hand grip should have come with a plastic spacer/sleeve that you would cut to length- it takes up the space between the end of the bar and the end of the inside of the grip.

I assume the throttle grip is the one with the plastic spacer notched for cables affixed on the end of it? It also is smooth on the inside?

how do I remove the throttle housing? I removed the 3 philips screws and only one part came away from the bar. I guess a shop manual would help!

Scott, I hope you will report back on everything you learn on the way - I'm facing the same project next week when mine arrive. I was also wondering if just the fittings with screw heads had to be removed, but apparently the allen fittings need to be removed also. Anyway, let me know what you learn as you go along.

Yep, removing the two large allen screws did the trick!

I tossed the sleeve in the trash and just loosened the controlls and moved them in the 3/4" on the bars...no cutting, no silly sleeve thing...clean and quick!
