I am trying to find out some information about SE Georgia; particularly the Tifton, Albany, Douglas, and Fitzgerald areas. If you live or lived there or know anything about the area, please tell me about it.

It's a lot like Florida.. pretty much hot and flat.. lands cheap though..
Except of course for the Savannah or Brunswick area.. still flat and hot but the lands not cheap.

What Chy said, but I'll add that those two places are the only GA coastal areas I'd consider. St Simons is real nice but REAL expensive. Myself - I'd choose inland - WAAAAY inland.

Aiken, too cold?! Columbia is hot to warm most of the year round, only 200-250ish miles to Dahlonega, 2 hours to Asheville, 6 hours from Daytona...

Hmmm, seems Albany has had some gosh awful floods over the years.

I lived in Tifton for 3 years ,went to college there at ABAC.Lots of genuine southern hospitality, long straight dusty roads, not a great place to ride.
