Just read Bruce Rossmeyer's 1'st anniversary memorial weekend flyer and they advertise
07 883 $4,995 07 XL1200L $6,995
Man has HD really screwed their resale up or what? Let's make some motorcycles and put a stealership every 30 miles. Heck in central florida alone there are like at least 11.

The worse thing that ever happened to Central Florida HD was when Robison's HD had to sell his francise when he refused to turn his great Daytona dealership into a boutique, yuppy haven (which HD mandated) - which it is now under its current ownership. I used to love the old Scott Smith HD in Longwood until they went yuppy boutique.
BTW, I tried to buy the Lake County francise when the owner in Leesburg decided to sell (pre boutique days). Unfortunately, while my paperwork and approval was being processed by HD, another buyer closed the deal.

Ahhh, but which lifestyle would you be living now if you had purchased that franchise? Would you be 'out' with your personal Triumph preference?
Can't get the Fig Newton song out of my head.

There are rumors that the '08 models will be out earlier than usual so, maybe they are trying to clear them out. Or, maybe they have finally admitted to themselves what a great product Triumph is making.

Owner of the Harley dealership here in Baltimore used to be a VP of some sort with Triumph. He's got a collection of old Brit bikes that is allegedly pretty amazing. He's had a few old restored trumpets at his dealership making the Harleys look ugly.
