Can anyone that has used the Caswell pipe polishing kit chime in and let me know how it worked? And how long did it take to remove the blueing? Thanks!!!
I wondered why the frisbee was getting bigger......and then it hit me.

That's what I ordered. I'll post a review once I've tried it.

The left one is blue from the head to about half way down the after the first bend. The right side is just gold to about the first bend. AI has been gone since new.

Rick, I used the Caswell kit. It works great. You can return both pipes to a chrome finish in under an hour. You might have to tip up the oil lines to get to the headers with the little bullet tip polishers. I used the blue & white compound, and skipped the liquid. The liquid was slow going. Jut keep everything moving, and it will all work out. It's a very user friendly system. A shop apron can be a plus too. Compound fling sticks well to clothing.
One little tip - wrap your drill chuck in some tape, and you can avoid mishaps if the spinning chuck should come into contact with the pipe.

Thanks. I bought the basic kit with the wheel and hour glass buffer. I may have to remove the oil lines to get the hour glass buffer in there. I hope the compound that comes with this version works as quick as what you used.

I think you could loosen, then turn the oil line up, then re-tighten with oil line still in place. That way, the port stays sealed and clean from compound fling. The bolts themselves won't bottom unless the banjo fitting is in there.
