I've been thinking of painting or powder coating my wheels black for awhile. I've been wondering how it would look. I found some pics on the net. Here they are if anyone else is interested.

Put some fork gaiters on and wrap those headers with black exhaust wrap and that bike would look great...just my opinion.

WOW! The black wheels give the bike an industrial/sinister quality. I really like the look.

Very cool! Definitely on my list. The rotors are a nice touch, too.

Hey Slug, great minds think alike! Thanks for the pics. Since I put the cast wheels on my America I've been thinking that black powdercoat could be cool, but just couldn't quite see it. I also agree with Brent that the black rotors are a must have also.

This'll have to be my next winter project. If you find someone who's good at it let us know.

I like it! Very cool. Like the front fender stripe also, kinda ties it all in. Wonder whether paint or powder coat would be the best way to go on something like this.....

I'm no expert, but i would guess that powder coating would be more durable.
I think this'll be my winter project also.
