Out on a ride the other day, I had a "hunch" and stoped by the local Triumph dealer to price front brakes. The owner said he'd take a look and see how soon I might need them, (to help me budget). He came back in and told me I wasn't leaving the parking lot with those brakes on. He said he'd put new ones on and I didn't have to pay today. He didn't want me to chew up my rotors. (I did offer my credit card ofcourse)
Turns out he didn't have two new sets to put on. They scrounged up some used to hold me over till an order for new came in. (with no charge for the holdovers) Tommarrow the parts should be in and I'll get 'em on and pay the man. He saved me BIG TIME. The pads were down to nothing and ready to brake off and eat my rotor.
I consider myself lucky to have Tim Tokarsky as my local dealer. Just had to share the love.

It's great when you have a good dealer! With so many not so good dealers out there, its even better to spread good things about good dealers.

Yeah, he does go out of his way to treat ya right doesn't he? He's looking for a longer front brake line for me while he is busy trying to sell bikes, good people he is. I support him as much as I can, maybe selfishly, cause he is 10 minutes away and I wouldn't want the nearest dealer to be 100 miles away like some folks have. He tries hard to please and I like that.

I've become comfortably numb
