Ok a quick back story...My wife (Aunty Cathy to the yutes) has worked for the a bank for the last 22 years....

several years ago her bank was robbed by a note passer ...and the guy writes his "give you all your money" note on the BACK OF HIS COURT APPEARANCE DEMAND!!!!

Today I get the phone call her bank has been robbed again... they are still in lock down so details are sketchy but it looks like we got another winner...he waits till there are 7 people in line behind him THEN he passes his I've got a gun (stupid... now its armed robbery) give me all your $$$ note... then he leaves his prints all over the counter...and he did all of this while giving the 7 witnesses a perfect look at his dumba&#face!...the people involved with this, obviously, have to deal with the emmotional crap that goes along with these $&*%heads

but man they are a dumb bunch

They have to be dumb and stupid. No one with half a brain would try to rob a bank. Probably some drug crazed moron looking for cash for his next fix.

But I think you have enough guns in the house. You probably can't turn this into, hey I have to protect my family.
My grandfather walked into a bank robbery about 5 years ago, the problem is that he has 90% hearing loss and it took the robbers (it was a professional open the vault job) a bit to relay to him what was going on. It was amazing he didn't get shot.
Just remember though thank god for stupid criminals it makes the police's job much easier.

Cat was pretty shook up when I got the first call...but is better now, thank you! it's mostly the PITA factor now wait for the LEO's to do their thing then the Fed's, then the banks security...the whole lockdown thing...just very unsettling the first few min after it happens BEFORE the building is surrounded and secured...

The bank was busy today !!!! I had to wait in line !!! Then there was confusion over the note, the teller thought I had gub not a gun so we had to get that straighten out, by then I had a line behind me.

What a day, nice ride though.

OK heres the epiloge....The bank is back open...they CAUGHT the stupidass BEFORE they finished interviewing the customers....he was just strolling down the street!!! when one of Nashua's Finest noticed him and...well WHAT a IDIOT!!!!

They actually held the customers at the bank while they put together a line up!!!

He's behind bars and the Bride will be home soon so out to dinner we go....

Didn't Paul Harvey say a few years back, "If criminals took into consideration the amount of time, effort and risk involved, They could get a job at McDonalds sack'in french fries and make more money per hour than thier crimes pay" WOW To me just the risk outweighs any amount you could steal from someone! To agree with you Rob, Yes some people are SOOO stupid!!!!

Reminds me of the book Freakonomics where they studied why most crack dealers still live with their moms. There's no money in crack dealing unless you're at the top of the food chain.

Next time the teller should just tell the robber that they are low on cash but they will make out a cashiers check,
Then ask for some id to make sure its make it out correctly....

There was an idiot in Stroudsburg painting a building a few years ago and his back was to the bank wall when he was painting the wall he was working on. This mental midget got down off the scaffold went next door robbed the bank then got back up on the scaffold and went back to work. Needless to say he was rather quickly arrested. I am not sure but I think it was about 7 or 8 years ago and was in the Pocono Record our local new paper for you guys who like looking things up to validate.

That's about as bad as the idiot who tried to hold up a bank in CA a few years back. Fool used a paper bag over his head as a disguise, but he forgot to make any eye holes in it. Must have been his brother that used a nylon for a mask, standing in front of a security camera to put it on.

Don't worry also in Italy we have some "intelligent" people like the so called "Vigili Urbani" (Urban Vigilantes) or the so called local police with only administrative and ticket writing job...

They have been able to sue me and report to court because I didn't help injured persons in a road accident between my bike and a car, where the only injured person was MYSELF.

Yes I've been reported to court because I didn't helped myself because I refused to go to first aid hospital and decided to go 3 hours later because I didn't feel pains at the moment of the accident.

The judge asked me and to his collegue if it was a joke... :-)

The local police dept didn't send an its representative...
I've been absolved because is something nonexistent in laws injured person who doesn't help himself...
And also the law admits a major age person to refuse medical aids.

But I had to pay near $1500 for the office lawer and the burocracy fees...

She should have told him "You'll have to speak to a Manager. Please take a seat"
