My only problem with the AGM batteries is if they go dead, they sometimes don't come back.
Been there - done that with a Westco. It only lasted 7 months. I neglected it over the Winter, and it would not hold a charge after that. My bad to neglect it, but according to my google research, this is not unusual.
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=agm+battery+dead&btnG=Google+SearchIt seems the conventional wisdom about AGMs is to keep them at or above a 50% charge at all times. If one can manage that with the correct type smart charger, they far exceed the performance & technology of the lead acid types.
