I read somebody's thread somewhere can't remember where at the minute ,about having the carbs balanced, you can see my settings on my speedmaster at 3 Turns(double checked)did all my maneuvers per Dinqua.Yanked my steel plugs...had scant traces of black carbon,Replaced with Iridium plugs so am I thinking right? That I don't have a lean burn situation going on? It seems to run good ,no problems that I can smell,feel,hear or see throttle-wise,Am I turned out Enough?(performance-wise)and Do I need to Balance?....Speed.

Yes.
Balance the carbs after any and all tweaks, and probably on a regular basis anyway.

Can I do this myself with the mercury Balance Gauge?I didn't think about it before until Erwins thread...Drawing off of one carb...AI kit had a nipple plug for Carb # 2 that's the vacuum plug isn't it and that's primarily a need for balancing right away.

Yeah you remove one vac cap from each carb and plug the carbtune into them.
