Forgive my "newbi-ness" but I have no idea how to put a pic in a post. You'll have to check out my gallery to see them. More being added in a bit.
I did the Ride of the Patriots at Rolling Thunder today, my first time. I was overwhelmed at the amount of bikes that were there. There was obviously a sea of Hardleys, but saw a few cows, several Hondas and the occasional Suzuki. I posted a pic of an America that I'd like to know who it belongs to. It was nice seeing that I wasn't alone.
We rode along the closed road with people everywhere waving and cheering. We then broke off and rode past Arlington Cemetary to pay our respects, then parked and walked around and watched the main procession of Rolling Thunder. It was incredible. Afterwards, we rode past the Pentagon parking lots (that's plural) where there were more bikes than I've ever seen in my life just waiting to get in line for the procession down Constitution Avenue. I hear it's about a three hour procession of non-stop motorcycles.

This being my first time not only in this event but in any organized event, I have to say that it was more than worth it. The people were friendly and I had several compliments on my America. I'm looking forward to more events like this.

Remember; no matter where you go, there you are.
