I love the look of mine without em. Sorry, I'm too lazy to go take a picture. I like the look so much that I'm searching for a machinist to lathe off the stock mounts for the fender.

Although lots of folks (myself included) have done this on one or more machines, there's one thing to consider - the bracket is a pretty substantial structural member of the assembly.
Said Molly to James, that's a fine motorbike.

You can have just about any size wheel made. You just need the correct hub. any good spoke wheel shop can build you one around the hub.

That wheel was done by Euro Shop in Waco, Texas. Haven't heard about them lately, but at one time they were offering wheel packages for our bikes...spoked rims with 21" fronts, and I think 200 sized rear tires. Might still be making them.

If you have the hubs (either your original hubs or an extra set) and buy the rims off ebay, you can probably find a local bike shop that can lace them together and mount the tires. The local independent Harley shop in East Helena will do the lacing and mounting and balancing for $300 in labor. Originally I asked him because I wanted black spokes for my stock wheels, but I don't want them that badly. If it was $100 plus spokes I'd probably do it next time I have him mount up new skins. Someday I may still do a set of larger rims.
