Here are my new Hagon Nitros fitted at last.
It was a bit of a saga as I initially ordered the shorter by 1 inch version but the pipes scraped so they had to go back and be replaced. This
previous thread explains the drama but believe me it was worth it.
So replacing the progressive front springs was as easy as and by themselves like many have said, it by themselves is a must do modification. Now the nitros, and what are they like? Well to explain as easily as possible with only a 30k ride. For the first time when hitting the bigger road bumps, I'm not being dislodged out of my seat. Now my backside stays nice and firly in my Corbin single just like it should. In other words the shocks are doing what they are meant to do ie, absorb the shock and then let the wheel(s) return to normal with a minimum of fuss. I also feel safer knowing my back isn't going to be jolted

and the wheel is going to stay in firm contact with the ground. Of course I have to learn how to maximise the performance of the shocks by adjusting the threaded pre-load and 10 position damping knob but as it is, without personally knowing the performance of other after market suspension, the hagon nitros and front progressive springs are just beautiful additions to my speedie and I would recommend them to anyone.
For those of you who have mentioned your interest in these, let me point out the shorter ones didn't work for me but that's not saying they wouldn't for you. You may need to raise your pipes as I would have had to if I was interested.
The other thing is, I initially was given slightly longer rubber grommets but they seem to push through the eyelet of the shock thereby needing a washer to be fitted to stop it squishing over the swingarm.

I told "Moose" the Aussi distributor and he said the ones he sent originally are fine but suggested trying shorter bushes (which he sent) that are much the same length as the eyelet. In other words with washers on both sides, the bushes don't want to squish out and the rubber is held nicely in it's place.

So there you go. If after my week long 2000k+ excursion I find something that's not to my likeing, I'll let you know but considering the workmanship and components of these babies, I doubt there's much more to say but
