Never seen one like this before. I guess all that chainwax buildup inside the stock cover would be all over the place with this one. Looks cool, though.

I pull my cover at least once a year and clean the inside. There is chain wax buildup - but not real bad. I think I would definitely prefer to keep a cover and not have anything slung toward the engine or be visible.

Brent has this same guard on his site. I think it would look good on my BA. I wonder if it would fit?

What exactly would this device perform for $140?

I emailed Brent about the oil temp guage. Brent says the guy probably has obtained this stuff legit. He seems not to be worried about it in the least. They are exclusive to Brent, meaning Brent already made his money on them probably.
If Brent distributes to resellers I would think he wants resellers to sell the stuff so they come back for more. Just my thinking on the subject.

I'm not sure who this is. What's concerning is that this guy is advertising both black and clear alodine finish on these. We haven't sold 2, one of each color, to ANYONE. I'd be cautious if bidding on these...

I emailed him this ____________________ A large group bonnevilleamerica.com. Is very concerned about how you are providing this stuff. Brent from newbonneville seems to not know who you are so we are worried about the possible knock off issues. Is there some way you can reassure us that this stuff is the real deal from newbonneville? Please reply to satxron@yahoo.comThanks

Bolt patterns are the same so I assume it would have no problem on a Speedy.

Here is my response back from that vendor who is selling the cover and the oil temp gauges. Either he is a bold faced liar and Brent needs to clarify this or Brent has forgotten who his dealers are. I am opting for liar at this time. End of next week I will make a complaint with fleabay against the guy for this email misrepresentation unless Brent figures out this guy is OK or not. _____________________________________ Subject: Re: Question for item #200113062990 - Triumph Bonneville Thruxton Scrambler Sprocket Cover eBay sent this message to camdenhuntingdon). I wouldn't file an issue with Ebay until you hear from Brent. If you don't hear from Brent I still wouldn't file anything. Until Brent tells you the guy is shady you don't know. I would hate to see a legit guy get hassled. If he is shady he deserves anything he gets but I feel until it's clarified he deserves the benefit of the doubt. If shady I am behind you 100%
Edit: Actually on further thought, shouldn't Brent file the grievence? He has an Ebay acct.

I'm sure it's on the up and up. I don't like people undercutting myself and our dealer network as a whole, but what'ya gonna do...
Thanks for checking into this, Ron.
