I remember someone posting they moved the rear pegs on their SM ..I've been searching and cant' find the posts..
I want to move my rear pegs from the back position to the bottom front..
do I need different pegs, the bolt on the peg isnt' long enuf...
I've looked at the solo finishers and the custom footpeg hangers, but none of them have a rear bolt hole... which I still want so I can mount a water bottle system (from another bike)
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
mary

Get a longer bolt I used a stainless steel allen head picked up at Ace Hardware. You will also have to drill "Alignment" holes for mount or grind off "Alignment" pins on back of mount

Mary,

You can move the rear pegs to the lower front bolt. The threads on the rear pegs are the same size. I’ve got the solo finishers on my scooter and whenever I want to ride 2 up, I just remove the bottom bolts and screw in the rear pegs. If you do decide to do it, go by Lowe’s or Home Depot and pick up a couple of plastic washers. That way when you screw to rear peg in you won’t mess up the chrome finish on the solo finishers...

Yep. If you pull of the peg hangers the rear pegs screw right into the lower mounting hole. I've had mine there for quite some time.
