Just moved to NE last fall and holy crap, I have little specs of rust all over the chain and on a few bolts after one winter here. What's the best rust remover that is ok for chains? Whats the best way to prevent this? I had a good coating of lube on my chain during the winter, but it still rusted.
Also, I have some kind of crud on the rear wheel, seems like it leaked out between the tire and wheel. What is that? Does anybody know something that takes it off easily? It's stuck on there pretty good.
