If you're like most of us you'll feel the same way when you have 12,000 miles.
We all like to think of ourselves as rugged individualists. But when push comes to shove most of us are sheep who do what we are told. Worst of all, a lot of us become unpaid agents of whoever is controlling the agenda by enforcing the current dogma on the few rugged individualists who actually exist.

Twelve miles is 6 trips back and forth to my office. I HATE working long hours when I can't put more miles on her, but it's better than nothing!

Twelve miles is better than none, Gary. Good for you and I hope you can get out there on longer rides soon. Get used to your ride first and foremost.
Hey all, the number of miles is kinda like the number of posts. Doesn't make a dang bit of difference in who you are or what you know.

My first trip wasnt long ago. Only 2227 miles ago. I think my first ride was about 15 miles round trip. It felt great! The first bike I ever passed on my bike was another Triumph! I got the biker wave and I remember thinking...THAT WAS SO FING COOL! and then thinking Im glad I have a full face so no one can see that stupid ear to ear grip. Then a few miles down the road I got the wave from a pack or HDs. Again with the grin I got home and paced back and forth cause I wanted to go ride again....but I had to go to work or something responsible like that! Dang I love being on that bike. Even for the short rides. Dude...enjoy your ride, ride safe, have fun and make her yours!

So is it not customary to get a big grinning like an idiot picture of yourself and the bike? Nice one and can't wait to be starting a similar thread! Cheers, JC
