Who and when did floorboards for motorcycles come about? Kind of a friendly bet with a co-worker.

The Einspur had floorboards. It was the first motorcycle ever, built by Gottleib Daimler in the late 1800s.

I have pictures from "The Art of the Motorcycle" exhibit. They have the Einspur replica made in the 1980's. So it was easy to check my Wild Asss Guess.
