I was wondering what size jets are shipped with the TOR Short pipes. I understand the dealer just installes what is shipped with the pipes but we are at 2000ft so I am guessing they are not on the money.

SM with snorkles and AI removed + TOR shorts .

None the TOR do not "require" a rejet...therefore Triumph does not ship them to the dealers

not the story I am getting from the dealer They say the pipes ship with a jet kit which they installed at the time but they are not sure what the jet size is . I would just like to know what I have in there then I could use the calc to see if it is correct for my altitude. Just removed the AI hoping to aleviate some of the decelleration popping which makes me a bit of a cop magnet right now.

That's correct. TOR's do not require rejetting and they do not come with jets. But for what it's worth, I have long TOR's and rejetted to 130 mains and 45 pilots. It runs great with no popping on decel. (AI is removed)

I wondered why the frisbee was getting bigger......and then it hit me. '05 BA - Mulberry/Graphite,128 mains,42 pilots,TBS needles,drilled slides,debaffled stock pipes,Uni,no snorkel

bikes are lean at the factory all stock. Open either the airbox or the exhaust and you do need to rejet for proper tuning

TOR's dont require rejetting, perhaps your dealer is a bit on the shady side.

Is this the service manager telling you this? Or a counter clerk?

Guess I will just have to use the calculator and buy the correct jets and hope they are not the same ones that are in there. First bike in a while but wow all you guys are saying your bikes are not loud enough ....I feel like I am riding a cop magnet. This thing makes HDs sound like tabby cats purring. Lots of bark and the decel pops are a bit over the top in the city.

Thanks for the input.

I bought my 07 TBA from a guy who worked at the dealership. The bike reportedly backfired a bit on deceleration from the beginning. They installed TOR shorties and Elimination kit, and the bike no longer back fired and ran smooth. There was no re-jetting done or required. If it had been required it certainly would have been done according to the guy who sold me the bike.

That is kind of jacked that the dealer does not know what size jets he put in the bike. I run TOR longs and my bike backfired until I put 135 mains in it. Before I was running 125 mains, and I have the AI disabled. I also drilled the airbox at the same time so I changed two variables at once. My bike runs good and has a nice burble on decel now. I live in West TN.

06 BA, TOR's, 17T front sprocket, 135/42, needles shimmed, AI removed, drilled airbox, K&N air filter, desnorked, SM seat and risers, drag bars, pro-grips....let's ride!!

with TORs the carbs should be rejetted. Triumph says it's not required and doesn not ship jets with the pipes. (at least they didn't) But as was stated above our bikes come lean from the factory so its a no brainer that less restrictive exhaust = leaner engine. Lean from the factory + less restrictive pipes = even leaner so rejet should be done. If you have any doubt put it on a dyno.
