Silly Question,

The long slash pipes from Triumph (the non stock, loud version in the accessory catalog), what brand name are they? Triumph or are they SS or something else?

If that's the Triumph accessory catalog you are refering to, they would be Triumph brand "off road" pipes.

What's the price on the Triumph Off-Road pipes? The local Triumph dealer (only one around here) gave me a price of $575!!! OMG! Is there another source of Triumph off-road pipes or is that just what I'll have to pay?

You could either work on your own or get a stock set and remove 1 baffle at a time until you get what you want as an alternative to spending alot of money. I see stock pipes on Ebay all the time that sell for less than $100 a pair. Just offering up another route.

The local Triumph dealer is the ONLY game in town and charges full rippin' retail on Triumph parts and accessories. If the dealer charged only $385, I would've bought them.

hmmm, I think that $385 IS the retail price...your dealer is ripping you off. Search 'A9608020' on the 'net and you'll see. Your better off ordering them from another retailer and having 'em shipped...like this one: off-road pipes with shipping = $418!

fyi...I don't endorse this store - just using it as an example...there are lots of similar 'deals' on the 'net

A lot of people (including some of our top performance vendors) think the BUBs are the best 2 into 2 pipes from a performance perspective. If I were not working up some fishtails, I'd be running BUB's. I have had, on this bike: D&D's, KhromeWerks 19" turnouts, America stock and gutted, and the stock speedmaster pipes.
