Bonneville America Forums Forums Technical Forums Accessories 2 Triumph gunfighters?

So I just noticed there are 2 different triumph gunfighter's.
I guess I have the roadster since mine has a strap. I have been looking into getting a corbin or something different since this seat seems to soft for my tastes.
Are there any differences between the 2 other than the strap?

The one with the strap is the true Gunfighter. The one without is the Roadster.

The Touring seat is also similar, but has a thicker pillion seat. All one piece though.

I've put in some long days on my Gunfighter and still don't feel a need to change it. I get more uncomfortable than that in my La-Z-Boy in a similar amount of time!

Correction, the Roadster has the strap as per the Triumph website.

The website is wrong. Believe it.

The Speedy's have always come stock with the Gunfighter, and they have the strap. I have old accessory catalogs that show the correct labeling on the seats, and the website was correct until the most recent update with the 2007 model line.

Most dealers probably don't know the difference, either.

Trust me. The Roadster has a long, strap-less pillion section. The Gunfighter has the strap.
