How the heck does the front break pad spring fit. It flew out as took it off and did not notice how it fits. Everyway I've tried makes the front break drag. Works fine without but may not be a good idea. The shop manual is less than helpfull.

I see what you mean. I just looked at my manual to see if I could make heads or tails out of it to help you. Having never changed front pads yet I can't tell you. Thats the one place manuals like Haynes are better. They usually show photos. I'll be working on Wendys exhaust tomorrow if I have time and you have had an answer yet I'll look. Maybe send you a pic even.

Hey Larry if you send me your email address I can scan my Haynes manual and email you the picture. I believe that there ie a picture in it showing the correct placement of the spring. I have replaced my pads but cannot remember the correct position for the brake pads spring.
