What size vacum gauge?

If I was to build my own set of vacuum tuners to balance my carbs. What range of vacuum would I be looking for? Eg how many Lbs minimum and maximum should the gauges be operating at. And do I need 4 - that is one for each rubber bung

you only need 2- but I would get the mercury stix. The guages fluctuate like crazy, and its difficult to dial them in. much easier with the mercury damping, and easier to read

or I posted a cheaply made set up using a yard stick , clear tubing and 2 stroke oil. Costs about $8 to make and is very sensative to dial them in perfect.
