If I want a new name, do I just start over or can I change it and keep my posts?

I can change your display name but not your login name. Changing the display name does not affect your posts. PM me if you would like to change.... (crikey, what can of worms did I open now?   )

I kinda liked guitarded. But it does remind me of a friend of mine who, in college, didn't really know much about e-mail when she got to school. Not many of us did way back in the mid 90's... Anyway, she signed up as "freebeer@wpi.edu" I dunno how they even allowed it! Finally got it changed.

Well, guitarted does fit- I trade guitars, amps, and pedals like I have a problem. But, I have a Aunt that is mentally handicapped and I figure others might have friends or family that have similar conditions and might find it insensitive- instead of just short sighted. I thought it was clever, but then realized it wasn't.
I've never been one that really worried much about offending people. People offend me all the time, and usually for things they have the power to control, but I can over look it. This is just something that people don't have a choice about. It was just weighing on me...

Just wanted to tell "Cowboy" that I aways read his old name as 2 words Guitar Ted. Just shows how some things can be missunderstood.

I also read the name as Guitar Ted and never had any other ideas about it. Just goes to show you how different people see different things in the same word or object.
