Thanks Bill, I appreciate it. I did note that apparently synthetic or partially synthetic oil is recommended for the bike. I wonder how often the anal guys like me change oil running synthetic? I guess running synthetic I can stop my MO of changing oil every 1000 or so miles!

By using synthetic oil, we reduce our dependency on foreign oil, which of course finances terrorists. e.g., Exxon, Chevron, Shell, etc.

anyhow heres a teaser.... the synthetic goes 6000 miles between changes, thereby justifying its cost, imho
