when lowering rear, have any of you had problems with your kickstand being "too tall"? have you needed to cut it and weld in a rest?

p.s. what's the size of our stock rear suspension? 13.5"?

Those are my 11.5" 412's you're asking about?
Even lowering the front about 1.5" I didn't have to do anything with the kickstand.
I even bought a spare off the site here to have shortened if need be. I didn't. It's sold to another member.
I did have to roll the rear wheel up on a couple of boards to get my lift under the frame though.
It was a minor inconvenience when working on the bike.

Hey Thorne, I lowered front and rear and I scrape all the time. i figure by the time I get around to cutting it there won't be much of it left. I have the same 412's as mentioned above and replaced the front springs with progressives.

I lowered Wendys 2" and didn't do anything with the kickstand. Just have to watch where you park and turn the wheel toward it.
