I know this has been discussed and have a general Idea on how to do this but could someone please tell me (At the Risk of sounding Mech. challanged) where the Slides are on our bikes and the advantage and proeedure for drilling them? Thanks

You do not need to drill an 05, they come from the factory already with the larger slide nappy headed holes. (3mm if I recall)

Pat, I have an 05 TBA, and the slides weren't drilled, I used the 7/64 bit, and it removed just a bit of material. Throttle response increased noticeably.

3mm will work but is a pubimeter larger than 7/64.
7/64 = 0.1093" 3mm = 0.1182"
diff - 0.0089"
