We'll try to make it all the way this year - if the yute buys a new CDI by then, by the way, here's a good link Triumph Come Home Rally

Pete,

If the weather is decent, I’m planning to get up there for at least one of the days. If it’s just me it’ll be Saturday, if Kasey and the other guys go it’ll be on Sunday…..

I am thinking about entering my bike in the show this year, anyone here do that before? I had my bike parked in front of the main building last year and had several people asking why I didn't enter it. Anyone know if you have to be there both days to be in the show? I cant find any real info regarding that on the TCH website.

not really. this event is about as low key and accepting of everything as you can imagine. even matt's coming.

they have 2 bike shows.
one Sat. and one Sun.
one is a british bike show.
and the other is a Triumph only bike show.
so you can enter both days.
I have entered several times , but no one votes
for a bagger.

Can any PA guys recommned a good route from the Allentown area to the event?

We'd like to avoid 78/81/83 if possible. I'm looking at 222 and 30. But 30 wasn't so pretty between Gettysburg and York.

you do not need to use 30 from york to gettysburg.
you must use an exit from 30 to stay on 30 just as you leave
york then ride 1/2 to 3/4 mile and turn left on rt 116
continue to spring grove ( paper mill stink ).
just as you leave spring grove turn left on 516 and head
south towards jefferson

Am I hallucinating (again) or are there two towns in PA named Jefferson, both spelled exactly the same?

Looks like Geoff +1 from Jersey, and Martin and me from CT,
will be heading to this event. Details to be worked out.
Contact any of us if you want to hook up for the ride, or
when we get there.

We'll be there on Friday & Saturday, staying in Hanover, leaving for home on Sunday.
The weather looks like it will be NICE.
If you meet my & my wife, please tell her what a great sport she is for putting up with my Triumph addiction.
