Does anyone know of any aftermarket basket/retaining plate options for our bikes.

You might want to check with Rekluse they build a clutch that is virtually automatic in that you no longer need to use the clutch just shift to the next gear. They are building them for street bikes now. They used to cater to the dirt bike market but they are branching out now. A buddy of mine has one on his KTM and he really likes it. When you want to stop just put the brakes on and come to a stop and when you are ready to go just give her some gas and go and shift back up through the gears by just letting off on the throttle, shift and get back on the throttle. I believe that it works alot like a centrifical clutch. I don't know that I could get used to not using a clutch.

Oh the one thing that you must be aware of is that if the bike is not running and you pull in the clutch you have to tear the clutch apart to reset the ball bearings as they will drop out of position. This is true on their dirt bikes and assume it would be the same on the street bikes as well. Hope this helps, Ron
