do you mean breaker to disassemble or riviter for assembly?

Depends on the chain I use regular chain and master link.

True enough. I don't trust 'em (probably irrationally but.....  ,) so I replace mine with a top quality endless with riveted link..

well it's all in what you like or trust. Nothing like peace of mind!
Funny thing is I never used anything else I spent quite awhile trying to find the master link when I first got my Speedmaster!! LOL

Opted for the Motion Pro. Lists for something like $134, local dealer getting it for me for $116.
