According to Todd Anderson, (VP marketing for Triumph) in an article in the June edition of Cycle World, he more or less CONFIRMS that there are "2" new cruisers coming out in the next 12-18 months. One being an ALL NEW model, and the other being a derivation of an existing model. YES!!! This could be the 100HP twin !! Look out M109? Look out Vrod?? I can't wait!
'02 TBA,904,Scepter,K&N,and a little bling too!

one is another derivation of the Rocket. Was in MCN this week, complete with pic. But haven't got it anymore so can't scan the pic in...

Seen the same picture Gina, Looked like a Rocket with large single round headlight, screen and hard panniers that looked identical those on an Electra Glide.

Yep, just saw it on MCN website. Fugly to say the least. I sure hope the "other" cruiser model more represents the classic Triumph twin engine and not that fugly Rocket 3. Looks like a Honda in those pics.

If that is going to be the touring version of the Rocket, they still have got it wrong for what the American people want. They want the full three hard bag set and a fairing that has all the bells and wistles like a stereo and all the other gadgets that the other tourers (Gold Wing, Venture, Electra Glide) have.
Someone a while back posted some pictures of an Italian version of the Rocket that did have all of that.

I do like the single pipe on each side. I never figured out why they had to have three and swooped up like they are.

At least it leaves room for real size bags. The bag on the port side of the current rocket tourer looks silly because they have to be so small to clear the two pipes on the right.

I agree Soren, the US people in the market for a true cruiser would want Fairing , large hard bags, and trunk. With all the little toys in the fairing along with the livingroom type seats and rests.

I've been saying, from the day the Rocket came out, that Triumph is doing themselves a disservice by not offering a true bagger, with trunk, for that bike. Of ALLLLL the bikes on the market, it's got plenty of motor for it! Just plain silly they don't actually. They can even call it something completely different! Who cares! Victory does it

And bulldozer... Oh yeah you mean like a bike trailer Yeah that too! One of those little pup tent things. Bet you could even attach a bumper dumper.
