Does anyone have side view pictures of either short or long TOR's on a Speedmaster. I can't decide which ones to get and I'd like to see what they look like before I buy.

I like the look & sound of them. Not TOO loud but throaty enough.

Thanks guys, Speedmaster05, I take it they are the short ones? Have you had to do anything else to the bike for the pipes, as in upjet ? Yeah Dog, I'd like loud pipes, but where I live, it just ain't worth it. They make you walk home and then you have to pay to get your bike back!

man that sucks! They say you don't have to rejet with those pipes but I never dynoed mine with them on so I'm not sure. The jet calculator says 123.5 between 1000 and 2000 feet above sea level if everything else is left stock and since the stock jet is 120 you should be fine.

Hillbilly, they're the short TORs. The dealer originally had some other pipes on there that were LOUD, and I had them put the TORs on.
Sad to say, I'm not a wrencher but I know the dealer did some stuff to the bike. I'm really happy with the set-up!

Cheers guys, I'm not going to make any other changes other than the pipes (yet), I've only got 200kms under me belt so far!

The 'long' TORs are pretty much the same as stock on an '07 Speedie so just do a search for images. If you like, I'll take a few pics of mine (a black un) and post 'em but it'll be tomorrow night before I can do it. Lemme know. :-) My review here.

If you want long TORs you might want to remove 1 baffle at a time out of the stock pipes until you have what you want.

Echoance, could you post the pics, that would help a lot cos I've got a black 07 Speeder as well. I'll probably buy the shorties and keep the originals for test time (or experiments!).

Sorry about the pix but I took em in a rush. Here goes for my first attempt at putting a pic in a post... Like I said, no difference to the ones you have on...except for the sound!!! (Just so you know, the baffle starts(ends?) just under the pillion pegs and is a straight, perforated tube. Quite why I felt the need to tell you this, I really don't know!) The last one's a pic of my new billet-ally LED indicators. Reeeaaaally tidy the back end up and look saaahweeet!!! (They should do at the price!!!)

Cheers buddy, I'm torn now, don't know whether to bet the long or short TOR's. Have you painted you're tail light black?
Hey dog, if I remove my baffles one at a time, which end do I start at ?? Will they have a CAT in them and at which end ??

No probs. If you're not in any rush, I'll try and upload some sound/film bites although it'll be done on my still camera (with film feature) so won't be great. Hopefully, it'll give you an idea. I'll do that this week sometime. Another thing I will say about the pipes, when starting the bike, it feels good through your feet/the ground, as though starting something of substance. Hard to explain-perhaps others can expand. Quote:

The black bit just at the edge of the picture? That's the number(licence) plate bracket and it's black as standard.

Generally, people start at the open (rearmost) end; just get a hole-cutter and start drillin'!!! Do a search for 'bafflectomy'. Not sure about the cat.
