well picked up the corbin drivers saddle today. now it matches the assneger seat and sissybar pad. the seat is definetly much stiffer then stock. but after riding 40 miles i appreciated the extra support. it also cups your behind and holds it in place very nicely. yes the price it steep, but the comfort if totally worth it.

I agree Frank. Very good quality. My only worry is that once it's broken in, it might not support far enough forward on my tush. Since the seat itself shifts me forward an inch or two, and the post for the backrest is built into it, there's NO way it's gonna break in any farther back than where it is now, ya know?

My Corbin is really hard too, like a leather covered brick. I have over 8k miles on i and it is no better than the first day I got it. After sitting on everyone else's at Ga, I called Corbin and they said send it in and they will make it soft and cushy for me, for free of course since it's less than a year old. I will put the stock seat back on for a few weeks I figure. Man, it hurts afetr 4-500 miles in a day. I want my saddle to be nice and soft like wojo's and Phil's.
A word to the wise is not necessary. It is the stupid ones who need the advice.

I did 1,600 on my stocker for the Ga. trip and felt pretty comfortable at the end. I know you guys like the Corbin product, and they do look great, but, after the Ga. trip, my immediate money is going to performance. Oh, and my family, almost forgot! As Newt would say, "it never occured to me that I needed that (the Corbin), you know? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAH!"
Ride Safe,

I'm with you Ryan. My stock seat is great and thats after putting over 3000 miles on in 2 months. Can easily do 6 to 800 miles in a day and get off without an ache.

IF the stock one happens to fit the contours of your body, more power to ya!!

The different seats available will vary in comfort depending on your own, er, "seat". I have a bony bottom (I know, "thanks for sharing") and on the Triumph seat all my weight was on my tailbone. Varying the handlebar height and pitch helped a little, but not much. For me, the Corbin supports me under the thighs which makes for a much more comfortable ride. It "lifts and seperates", er, no, nevermind... that's something completely different...

Hey Grump it;s funny, I feel like the corbin actually supports my thighs less, well not so much less, but since it shifted me forward some, the seat itself just doesn't come forward as much, ya know? Otherwise I definitly thing the cupping of the seat fits me better. My tail bone was killing me with the stock one too...
