Yep, same thing here. If it wasn't such a pita, I'd take it back off and drop a short sleeve inside.

Here's a little trick I did on mine. Remove the throttle side side end cap. Take the screw that was in the original end cap and screw it in so that when you replace the kurykyn end cap the screw acts as a spacer. Be sure not to get it so tight that it will bind the throttle. Once I got it where I wanted it, I used lock tite to keep the screw in place. I don't know if this makes any sense or not, but it worked for me.

Hey Nuthin,
Great idea. I tried to slide the entire right side farther on the handlebar to remove the slop but this just caused the throttle to bind. Had to back off to eliminate the bind but then I had slop back in the grip.
Will try the original screw trick next time I get to wrenchin.

Yes the Kuryakyn caps come off with the removal of the four screws on the end. Oh I forgot, one other thing I did was to polish the end of the screw so it would allow the grip to twist without the screw binding against the inside of the cap.

What a great idea! Mine's sloppy too, and I tried to live with it. Thanks Nuthin!

It's a really easy fix in my opinion, just don't make the fit too tight. You don't want it bind up while heading down the road! I hope it helps. It feels good to actually contribute something useful for a change.
