We got back our first batch of black risers from the powder coaters. They look awesome on the bike! We have two different styles with two different heights. The short ones are 2.125" and the tall ones are 4.200". They're made of 304 stainless steel and will be available in either polished or black powder coated finish. 1" spacers, in the same two finishes, will also be available. We have designed and made the risers specifically for these bikes, so you're guranteed they fit and all hardware is included. More info coming soon.... http://www.bonnevilleamerica.com/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=1531 Let me know what you think. -brent

Brent: Saw they are so new, they're not even on the website yet! If you have a picture of the tall, polished risers I'd like to see them. Getting together a list of stuff I'd like to have for my birthday! (clutch cable dress-up, rear master cylinder chrome cover - in case the wife calls!)
Also, do you have a set of stock-height rear shocks? I have a feeling those are on my horizon after this season.

And now the barage of questions.
1) How much? 2) How soon will you ship polished? 3) Any cable adjustments?
Thanks

Very cool, Brent. Similar to the roundtop Panhead risers. I am running the same type but I had to drill the top triple clamp to fit the bolt. If I only waited. . .

Brent wow looks great. Can you back off the bike a little and take a picture of the risers and bars from the side, so we can see a better profile picture. The larger ones w/ BA bars if you still have it set up. thanks, Joker-

The short polished round risers will be around $160. The short polished milled ones will be around $175. The tall polished round risers will be around $180 and the tall polished milled risers will be around $205. The black ones will be between $15-$25 more per set. The prices include the stainless steel clamp bolts as well as grade 5 mounting bolts.
The polished risers will be available in the next couple weeks. The black ones will be up on the site in the next few days. The 1" spacers should be ready in a couple weeks as well.
I'm not sure if there will be any issues by replacing the standard America risers with our tall risers. Surely someone will chime in on that one. I switched from the stock risers on the SM with the tall ones and had no issues.
Thanks for the interest!

Question for you Brent, do these riser caps obscure the alignment tangs punched into the bar to align the bar with the inside of the left riser? I'd love a "lowered" set for my Speedmaster, but would like to make sure I can keep the bar symmetrically placed, since my "eye" isn't that good with that kinda precision.
Looks great, nice creativity!!

Are you going to tell us about the bar ends or just leave us wondering? They are both pretty cool, and I need a set, but as you know, they're not on your website yet either.

I'd guess the round risers would but I sure don't see that as being a problem. Until you mentioned it, I never even knew there WAS an alignment punch :-) The milled risers will be less covering on the top so you'll probably be able to see it.

The bar ends are a project Pop's been working on for quite a wile. And as his stuff always is, these caps are highly engineered pieces of art (see the speedo loop ;-)!! The caps are actually made of 4 pieces; A base and a cap for each side. The base is mounted to the bike and the cap is mounted to the base with a set screw. This allows the cap to be positioned any way you like, so the flag will be straight. The set screw hole is on the bottom of the base so unless you're under the bike, the whole assembly looks like one piece that's magically hanging onto the bars.
Here's more info; http://www.newspeedmaster.com/html/chrome_bar_end_caps.html
Once again, thanks to ALL for your invaluable input and guidance!!!

Benny - We'll look into doing the bar ends in black. It'd look real cool but not sure if it's cost effective..... The chrome will look great on your bike :-)

Ok good to hear, the only way I'd known about the tangs, was the last time I dropped my Speedmaster (only the 2nd Time!) the bar got tweaked in the risers, so I had to loosen everything up to reset the bar, and thought that it was pretty cool that they'd done that for people like me. Some lowered risers would give me better weight transfer for more twisties!!

Brent....they look great. As always, your stuff is very high quality and serves a purpose. I bought a pair of Jim's spacers last year and although they were a vast improvement over the stock height, I was hoping for a little more rise. Keep plugging away. We all appreciate what you are doing.

Brent, Will you have spaces for both SM and BA? If also for the SM - will the spacers work/match existing SM risers? Barry

Thanks Tony! I appreciate the kind words.
Barry - The spacers fit both bikes and will be in either polished or black stainless. They'll work fine with the stock risers.

Brent,
I know you have mentioned the sizes, but can you tell me how the tall risers compare (in size) to the stock SM risers?

Hey Brent.. it occurs to me that the flat tops of those new risers of yours'd be the perfect place to mount your clock & thermometer, if you could come up with an appropriate mount/bracket. Maybe do a package deal on it Matt
