Hi sorry ive been missing from the site for a long time but as i havnt got an America or Speedy at the moment i feel a bit lost!(stil got a triumph tho a sprint st!),ANY WAY!, I AM TRYING TO ORGANISE A CHARITY RIDE FROM MY HOME TOWN OF MIDDLESBROUGH THEN TO JOHN O GROATS TO LANDS END!, BUT ALLONG THE WAY I INTEND TO VISIT ALL THE OFFICIAL TRIUMPH DEALERS IN THE UK!THE CHARITY I AM GOING TO DO THIS FOR IS THE GREAT NORTH AIR AMBULANCE SERVICE.I HAVE CONTACTED THEM TO PUT FORWARD MY IDEA,AND ALSO CONTACTED A1 MOTO (IN YORK),AS THIS WAS THE DEALER I BOUGHT MY AMERICA FROM AND FOUND THEM TO BE A GREAT BUNCH OF PEOPLE!. I ACTUALLY STARTED OFF BY THINKING OF DOING THIS RUN ON MY OWN, BUT AFTER A FEW BEERS! I THOUGHT 'THE MORE THE BETTER', SO IF ANY OF YOU WOULD LIKE TO JOIN ME IN THIS WORTHWHILE CAUSE (YOU NEVER KNOW WHEN YOU MIGHT NEED THE AIR AMBULANCE, BUT HOPE ITS NEVER !!!) LET ME KNOW AND ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY WELCOME TOO. NOT TOO SURE OF THE DATES YET AS ITS IN THE EARLY STAGES!, BUT A ROUGH GUESS IS JULY/AUGUST?.I THINK ALLOWING 4-5 DAYS WOULD BE ENOUGH(AT THE MOST)AND FROM MIDDLESBROUGH THEN TO JOHN O GROATS-LANDS END VIA ALL THE DEALERS WILL BE ABOUT 2000+ MILES???.SO WOT DO YOU SAY? IF NO ONE WANTS TO COME ALONG,ANY DONATIONS OR HELP IN ANY WAY IE' LOCAL ADVERTISING,or CONTACTING YOUR NEAREST TRIUMPH DEALER? ETC,(OR FREE FOOD!!) JUST SEND ME A PM'AND I WILL SEND YOU MY MOBILE NUMBER. THANX Alan Smith.

Great cause and the run is something I've been considering for a while, could be a great opportunity to link the both...I've time off last couple of weeks in August so it's a possibility if ties in with your schedule? Anyway will see... BTW you might already know but A1 have their first ride for the season this Sunday to Hawes, should be a good day out. Anyway let me know if you're out and about, Cheers, Dave

I'm off the start of August I think... but then there's a timetable change between now and then and I know it's gonna change - so instead of every 8th week off I'll have every 5th or 6th.... so I could be up for part/all of it. remind me nearer the time...

06 America - missing, presumed in bits. With it's TBS wheel...
09 America - It's very blue....

Yeh Ray, I heard that too. Sounds about right, you seem to get all the best weather when you're having to be at work! Not to worry, I think they said might be only scattered showers in the afternoon so it doesn't sound too bad... We're setting off from A1 Moto around 10 am. Scenic ride up to Hawes, a carvery for Sunday lunch and then a tour round a creamery, can't have many breweries up that way

Well have a nice ride out despite the weather Dave, just nipping to Glasson Dock in the morning and then to Knott End for the local meet. Should be back home about lunch time if all works out..
