Me too, he/she did a fine job. Maybe a little too Harley-esque with the sheet metal for me though.

Except for the rear fender (the flip up end), I think it looks great!

That rear fender does look a bit out of place. I'm thinking trailer fender and a springer front end.

if you look at the rear of the frame, it goes through the fender; maybe that's why the dish fender instead of the flat fender, which would look better.

That's odd. I thought that was just a funky fender strut.

I thought it was a fender strut too. That seems to me to be a pretty stupid design to go through the fender. Not to mention how would you do it and still be able to remove it for work?

Looks like a Duece tank and fender. I think that the fender rails stop at the fender and the fender bolts directly to the fender rail from underneath.

Looks like the rear section of the frame is cut and plugged and maybe the fender is bolted on from underneath.

It is now anyway. Looks like that is (was) the frame for the original bench seat.

Sure is...why the pic of the old oif frame? Just to illustrate the rear section? Or was there a question there I missed?

we were discussing the rear fender, and I thought that the frame ran through the fender. That pic shows that the fram has been modified and looks like it blots to the fender from the back side...

now that i've confused everyone...

with a flat fender, i don't believe the strut/seat frame would work...

design stuff I guess.

I like the dual plugs. I've seen that on BSAs but not old Tri's.

I just saw that in the photopost. Cool mod. I have seen that on a Triumph before. Guy raced it. I also noticed the polished head. I did that by hand not an easy job!
