Just recently, my left turn singal started blinking about twice as fast as normal, but the right one still blinks at the normal speed. Anyone got any suggestions to troubleshoot this? I don't wash my bike with water and haven't ridden in the rain recently.

Just wondering - do both the front and rear work?

Last time I saw that was about 12 years ago on an old car of mine and I think it happened because one of the bulbs had burned out or the relay had gone bad.

Just got back from lunch and no, the left tail light isn't working. I took the bulb out and the filament is intact, at least as much as I could see. These are new lights I put on from Bellacourse...I used all the old wiring connections and everything was working perfect up till today.

Well, maybe that's it. Try a new bulb (you can't always see with your eyes that it's dead) and hopefully the problem's gone.

Well, here's the update. 1. Swapped the bulb from the bad side to the good side and it works. 2. Swapped the wiring harness from the good side to the bad and visa versa and the bad side still doesn't work, while the good continued to work so I ruled out bad wiring. 3. Finally, I used a voltmeter and confirmed that I'm getting juice to the wiring just behind the light housing, but not in the housing itself
I sent bellacorse an email about getting a replacement light...we'll see how long that takes to get a reply.

OK. Well, at least you found the problem. Good luck!

USAF
I had this problem, turns out the push-in connector by the indicator (turn signal) was loose. Taped it up & sorted it out.

I saw something on the rat.net forums that he is on vacation for a while this month. It may have only been for the event in GA, if so he should be back.
