I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with aftermarket forward controls extenders. I've seen them for Harleys or has anyone had any experience with aftermarket floorboards? Are you happy with the Triumph floorboards? Thanks for your help. Deborah

I'm not familiar with any other foot control options for our bikes other than the Triumph floorboards. They are crazy expensive, but I love mine. They allow enough foot movement over longer rides to get a little strech. I put the balls off my feet on the rear most portion which is close to where a mid-control would be (directly under my butt). In this position I can actually stand up on the boards for big bumps or just a little stretch.

Thanks for the response Al. I haven't heard anything negative about the Triumph ones, with the exception of being pricey.
Thanks

There has been a lot of concerns with the floorboards. Mailnly the quality. Depending on where they were chromed? I read it in one of the Triumph topics. But one type are excellent the other crap. Will see if i can find where i read it,

I really like my floorboards. Allows for many foot positions on long rides. It's true the quality is lacking. The underside of the floorboard is proverbial dust swept under the carpet... flip a pair up, you'll see what I mean.
It's almost like the cats in R&D said: "The underside? But nobody sees the underside... M'wah ha ha ha!"
