Layed the bike('06 TBA) down for the first time the other day. Was going about 10-20mph, I think I hit a little ice leaving the parking lot at work. Bike skidded maybe 15' or so. Started right back up, idled okay, rode home. Was too cold to really pay alot of attention to the bike(wasn't expecting the cold snap, wasn't prepared).

I'm curious what I should check before riding again? I want to find any damage or start of problems before they grow. What would you all look for after such a spill?

Thanks,
phil

"What would you all look for after such a spill?"

A lot of cold beer......

It all depends what side it went down on. Shouldn't be anything internal wrong with it.

More flags More fun!

Testicles, specticles, wallet, watch. would be my first check. Then I'd look at (depending on how hard it hit) handle bars, brake or clutch lever, shifter or brake pedal,
as grump said depending on what side she went down on.

The percentage you're paying is too high-priced While you're living beyond all your means And the man in the suit has just bought a new car From the profit he's made on your dreams

Ah the benefits of a full face helmet with dark visor ! The car drivers watching can't see you blushing and won't be able to identify you in the pub !

Seriously tho' glad you're ok and hope the bike is. Gina had some problems with a cut off switch after she dropped hers a short while ago. Can't remember exactly but search her posts.

If you do it today you MIGHT regret it. If you CAN'T do it tomorrow you WILL regret it.
