Hey everyone, I'm kinda new so bear with me. I just got a 06 America right out of the box. Have not ridden in years, and wanted to get back into it. Well my issue is not unique, I am 6-4 and need some kind of windscreen and I do not like the Factory ones. I thought I had read somewhere that a fellow rider used .. maybe the Vulcan 900... windscreen supports and put a Memphis on with it. Has anyone heard this, or done this? I need something and I would like it to a have quick detach method as well. Ohter mods will come this summer as I get ready to go to the NY Finger lakes for a 5 day ride. Any help would be appreciated.

Indeed, check with Fast Eddy.
At 6'4" you may have a challenge finding the right screen. I'm 6'2" and got a Slipstreamer Viper S-10, for about $90. The Windvest was w-a-y more expensive.
It took some tinkering with the mount height and angle of the Viper to find the sweet spot but now it provides a good deal of protection.
Shop around and check out some different brands. Good luck

Dwags, I recently installed a memphis fats on my speedmaster and used the mounting bracket for the suzuki marauder 800. I guess the memphis slims would work with them too. their quick disconnect is four allen screws and the shield and the biggest part of the bracket comes off. I am happy with it, fwiw.
