I took my 2006 Dodge Magnum SRT8(they made 666 of them in 'O6)
to the California Speedway Infield track and mounted a camera inside my car.
I averaged 75mph and hit top speed of 115mph down the front straight. My best time was 1:26. No brake fade at all. The best time was a 06 Porsche GT3 modified to race and was piloted by a pro. He ran 1:10.
The R/T Chargers/Magnums, GTOs and Mustang GTs all left the track after 5 laps. They burned up their brakes.
This is my other love besides riding my beloved chopped/bobbed BA. Oh yea...and my wife and kids.
The video is 16 minutes. Enjoy. The SRTs are made to be flogged.

Doug
nice video, good feel for the run and you were getting ever more eager especially through the last chicane and drifting ever wider onto the longest straight.
Nailed a couple of fellow trackies as well, were all the cars of very similar spec and condition?
If so you did well and some of the people there were a bit of a worry.... a few run offs, thank god for open spaces....
Cheers, Mike.

Very nice video. Nice track too, reminds me of Sebring.
