Those who remember me, I sold my 04 America to go to a big V-twin (Yamaha Road Star Warrior). It wasn't as fun as the America, and I sold it last November (to help fund my fledgling business). I tried to get a loan earlier this year and was declined, but a very good friend co-signed for me and I am taking delivery of a 2007 Mulberry Red Speedy tomorrow! I haven't ridden in over 5 months, but most of that was winter anyway, I'm pretty jacked up!

By the way, I already have Bubs Slashcuts, AI removal kit and new jets from Brent. It is unseasonably cold here so I will be working on the bike over the weekend.

welcome back, Mark! I, too, had the big v-twin blues a few weeks back but fought them off and now the urge has passed. I have determined to keep my SM no matter what and only get another bike when I am in a position to have two (sm and whatever else).
I made the jump a long while back to a big v-twin and regretted selling my smaller bike the whole time I owned the large Victory touring cruiser. I do love the torque a large v-twin puts out, but nothing stokes my fires like my Triumph SM does. I do plan on eventually getting one but it will always be my 2nd bike in the garage.

Okay guys! I think we've found our "motivational speaker" here in Mark! Ya know what they say..."People tend to listen to those who have been through it"! So I say, the next person around here who's even CONTEMPLATING sellin' their BA or Speedy, we go to that VAN DOWN BY THE RIVER where Mark here appears to be living right now, and we send him over to that other poor lost soul's address!!! (anybody know where BikerThug is living nowdays???) (BTW Mark...you don't happen to look like the late Chris Farley, do ya?)

Mark, I'm really enjoying the green '05 America I bought from you in July of '06. I don't know if you remember but I sold an '05 Heritage Softail to buy the TRIUMPH from you and had enough left over to pay for my daughters wedding. Wouldn't go back for an even trade. Isn't this your third TRIUMPH America / Speedmaster?

Sounds good to me
Luckily BT isn't (or even thought of it) getting rid of his Speedy, he only addded to his stable. He still has it, it's in pieces though (since his accident). He's going to do a complete ground-up rebuild.

Mark, I'm still surprised, I'd be at the window with my nose pressed against it waiting for the bike to arrive. Possibly drooling too.

It is truly beautiful. It is missing a Triumph bagde on the right engine case, but the dealer is ordering me one. I never saw this color combo in person, just went with my gut, love it!

Saa-WEET, Mark! Bob is right. That solid Mulberry tank with the blacked-out engine is definately one of the better color combinations I've seen on these bikes. Enjoy!

Have said this before on other posts that the mulberry red was just about the perfect color for the speedmaster and those picks have not changed my mind. Now of course let the MODS begin!

I saw one of those at the dealer the other day. It was incredible in person. The mono chrome looked better than I ever figured. The only thing its missing is the triumph pinstripes.

The Bubs sound really good, am re-jetting today, and installing the Uni-filter, I am very happy with the Mulberry color!

I thought about the pin stripes when I first saw it too. I think that would really set that color off. I still really like the color and the more I look at it the more I like it. It was the same way with the black motor. I didn't really like it at first but my dealer gave me such a vreat deal I couldn't pass it up. It has grown on me and now I am glad I have the Speedmaster over the America. (after I made it mine)
