I got to see the new VPS shield system for the Nolan "flip up" Classic helmets at the IMS show in Atl this past Sat. If you have ever seen the Schuberth helmet with the flip down shaded sun visor on the inside of the regular shield, the Nolan is similar, except the sun visor on the Nolan is on the outside of the regular shield, it mounts and pivots at the same point as the regular shield. The sun screen is about a third of the height of the regular shield and has three positions; all the way up, in the center and of course down. I bought one and am impressed with the quality and function. It is adaptable to most Nolan Classic N100E style helmets. I think its great.

I just did a search for this and didn't really find anything. I have an N100 (older style that requires both hands) and would like to see if someone has this product.

I think they have "kits" that are adaptable to the older N100. Of course the price goes up, as it requires more replacement parts. I hope this will help you.

Here is a website for the helmet, and they are offering 20% off($247 before shipping). I know ordering helmets through the web isn't often the best way, but still seems to be a deal. I am considering trying to purchase one, after finding a place to try them on. Hope this helps...

I wrote to the Nolan Distributor, they sent me a list of all the sales places in my state via email. I am hoping to try before I buy. Also, wanted to mention that I am not affiliated with Nolan in any way.....hope this helps....
