Hey has anybody seen the touring seat from Triumph actually on a Speedmaster? I seen the picture on the Triumph site and the small picture is not very appealling.Does it look anybetter in person,or like !@#$ ??? My wife finally went on a ride the other weekend after having the bike for two years now.She did not have any good poetic words for the stock Speedmaster seat.We are also considering the solo seat with the passenger pad like on the America. I know there are some others out there, but I do not want to lower the seat height. Some pictures would be cool.Help.Thanks.

Not only do I have one on my speedmaster, it is for sale... check the classifieds.

The marks on it in the photo are water. It is like brand new. I bought it for the wife last August for the same reasons your looking at them, and we found out she was pregnant the next week. She has not been on it at all. I have taken my Mom for a ride, and sat on it myself just for kicks. It is very plus. your wfe would be happy!

As for the looks... Probably not for everyone, but, it looks cool, IMHO. Kinda has that GT350 fastback vibe. Definately no other seats like it. I'm actually going to miss it.

I'm selling it because the wife is not going to ride, and I want to do some spring improvements.

if you are going to do a lot of riding with the wife i highly suggest a corbin, or a custom seat by russell (day long) just my opinion

If you intend to stay married, get the Touring seat and sissy bar. The low sissy bar looks best in my opinion. My wife loves the touring seeat, she can practically doze off she's so comfortable.
Good luck!

And this the exact route that I am taking. Just so you know at the present time I have the same setup as Soren. Oh , and hey man. thanks for everything. Skillet also in selling me on the Russell seats to begin with.

To continue on in the new year I am shipping my seat to them to have a Day-long seat made up in the front section and the rear will be taken apart, leveled out, flattened and formed to look like the pic [link here] if someone could bring it up please. The backrest will be recovered and some studding work done. I am also having a heater installed. 105-108 degrees. Might as well go all the way. The seat will be black with leather inserts. This seat will have Day-long technology at the front but the rear section will not. However will look better and be more comfortable than stock. All Day-long duals have the same seat shape front and back so as to hold the springs that go inside the seat. I don't like to look of that at the rear section so am rebuilding it. It is totally custom to fit me and I know will cost a pretty penny.

I've never had any complaints from any passengers (about the seat).

Hey thanks everybody for the pictures and input.Triumph would probably sell more seats like this if they put some of these photos on there site. It is different. The price is good on them. It defently has enough padding.Maybe she would be happy then. This is wife #2 I don't want to go for #3.Last time I went broke.Thanks.
