I'm in. Of course, I'll have to run it past the warden, but it sounds like fun. I haven't been to Kellers in years.

OK Y'all! I know there are more members that tmax, nuthin, and myself in the area. For those who have never been to Kellers, it's a drive-in type burger-n-beer joint that's frequented by the Dallas "Cruising" crowd. Plenty of Hot Rods, Rat Rods, Low Riders, Harleys, Sportbikes and Cruisers. Lets add a few TRIUMPHS to the mix.

You mean you haven't heard of ME?! Why, I'm the most prominent member in the esteemed DFW area! I'll think about gracing your little gathering, depending on when it is cuz I have a weird work schedule. Oh, and only if nuthin isn't allowed to go.

Hey Nathen and Levi, Are we still on for this evening with this weather, or would you rather postpone to tomorrow afternoon, or even another weekend? Temps this evening will be in the high 40s w/20mph winds, tomorrow is supposed to be sunny and in the 70s. The wife would much rather wait till tomorrow, but I'm game for whatever, so I'll leave it up to you tough hombre's . Then there's the chance that if we postpone tmax will be able to grace us with his illustrious presents. Let me know what you want to do. I'll be headed that way about 6:30 this evening if I don't hear otherwise.

Well, I have to work until 7, then it takes me an hour to get home, then I gotta change and get over there. A Friday or Thursday night would be best for me. I usually seem to have to work late on weekends anyway! Let me know if you re-schedule and I'll see if I can make it. Maybe then Tmax can go too.

I get home around 5:30 and will need a few minutes to change and feed the livestock, can be ready to roll around 6:30. If you want to come to Wylie that would be great, we can leave here and then hook up with Nuthin, he's pretty much on the way.

I'm meeting Skip at his place in Wylie at around 6:30. But swinging through Rowlett to hook up with the nuthin would be okie dokie with me. I know a short cut ( if you can call it that) to Wylie form Rowlett. What time would you be able to hook up and where? the fire house? 6:15? whatever works for you Dood.

I had a great time. We need to schedule regular get togethers like that. Too bad Levi's wife wouldn't let him come. I think he said he had to wax her back. No, it's Thursday. On Thursdays he gives her a pedicure. Sad. Sad Sad. While I was on the phone with him I heard her say,"Levi, be a good boy and go get momma another bucket of chicken!"

Enjoyed it Gents, thanks for coming! We'll definately have to do it again! I made it home safe and sound, nobody ran me over with my tail light out. Can anybody tell me what replacement bulb I need to purchase? I didn't have time to pull the old one this morning and my Speedy didn't come with an owners manual. I need to pick one up on the way home tonight.

She did not say chicken! She said "bucket of gizzards", and that's different...sorta. Anyway, the brake job turned out fine on her truck. May I just say, do not EVER take anything to "Just Brakes"! I thought the truck would just need pads and have the rotors turned cuz the pedal was pulsating. I didn't want to spend my whole day doing that, so I took it in. They said, "You need a new rotor on one side, new bearings on one side, and we have to rebuild your brake calipers, and that'll be $800 please". I said "Bite me", called Pep Boys, got new rotors for BOTH sides, new calipers for BOTH sides, new pads, grease seals, new bearings for BOTH sides, brake fluid, disc hardware, and a bottle of brake cleaner for $350. Whoa. Glad I didn't get screwed by those jokers. They were right about the parts I needed, but man did they want to bend me over! Chris and I started about 4:30 that afternoon and got finished about 8:00 (we had to bleed it twice) and it will now stop on a dime and give you change! Oh, and the wife's toes look amazing. Nathen, don't hate just cuz I won't do yours!

Yeah, his posts always make me laugh, but then, so does that ridiculous mug of his! Hard not to laugh when you are looking at that guy. I'll come next time though, let's start planning ahead. Are you coming to New Ulm in May for the Rallye? Anyone? Anyone?

Next time you gents get out and about, drop me line. I'd like to meet up with ya'll. I probably wouldn't go up to Wylie, just because of the commute to get there- there is no safe way there- 635, 121, 35, 75, I30- slim chances on those roads. the wife and I used to live in ole Wide Awake Wylie and have family in Sachse, Wylie, and Garland. We moved to south west Ft. worth two years ago. That's a nice ride up around the lake and what not.

Bryan, We'll have to make plans for everybody in the DFW area to meet up somewhere. We can try to find somewhere that is easy to access for everybody.
Levi, I'm glad to hear the brake job went well. I would have probably just forked over the $800, becuase with my luck I would have screwed up the job doing it myself! You better show up the next time we all get together. We need to set up a monthly gathering for the Dallas/Fort Worth crew.

New Ulm is outside Houston, Terry. It's a Rally I've been going to for about 3 years every May. If it was gay, you would be on the planning board! You guys should go, it's like Lake O' the Pines but without the lake. Just go to the NTNOA website and get the lowdown. It's May 18, 19 and 20. Don't let Nathen plan the next get together, he'll probably want to go to "Strokers", if ya know what I mean.

Have you seen the bikini contest at strokers? In all honesty Strokers is not my cup of tea. Too many weekend bikers there trying to act tough. Nothing's worse than a dentist trying to act like he has street cred. Just a bunch a HD posers. Wyrm, you'd probably fit right in!

Hey, Hey! Let's not be dis'n strokers like that, even if I am in agreement as to their patronage, for the most part. I do have a few buds that hang out there on a regular basis. But, Mr. Fairless after all, did build a triumph for "Biker Build Off".
If we want to get together someplace that is somewhat centrally located, we could do Wilhoites over in Grapevine. Any body else got an idea for a spot to gather up, lets hear it.

Wilhoite's works, that is a fun place. Mostly Harleys, but I've met some nice people there. I could probably get Chris to go too, that's close to his house. Whatcha think everyone?

432 S Main St in Grapevine. It's a cool place, lots of bikes there on most nights. They have a patio you can hang out on and have a cold one, and the food is pretty good too. Nathen - I never noticed if it was across from a train station or not, but it's easy to get to. Cruise in on 114, exit Main St, take a right on Main, and it's a few stop lights ahead on the left with bike parking out front of the entrance. We should go!

Yep, if it's right there on main street it's across the street from the train station. I went there, so my son could ride the life size "Thomas the Tank Engine". There I was standing in front of a 12 foot tall bright blue train with a creepy smiling face staring down at me, holding the hand of a screaming child that wanted yet ANOTHER stupid Thomas the Tank engine shirt, when the sound of rock music, laughter, and motorcycles drifted through the air. I saw the bar across the street. Bikes lined up in front of the palce with people laughing and telling lies while sitting on there bikes. I was drawn to it, the bikes, the burgers - and then suddenly I was ripped back into reality as the theme song for that stupid blue smiling tank engine came slamminging into my ears from every direction. It was miserable, and yes I even broke down and bought the kid another stupid shirt! Wilhoites was there, I saw it, it was so close...... Now sing with me.... "Thomas the tank engine rolling along All of his friends will be coming along Thomas we love you He's a really useful engine With a heart that's big and strong He chugga chugga chuff chuffs, working hard Helping everyone Thomas he has lots of friends, and you can be one too Just clap clap clap and sing along Thomas we love you" For as long as live, I will never be able to get that song out of my head!

HA HA! I remember the Thomas the Tank Engine phase! I had to do that about 3 years ago, but it wasn't in Grapevine. In fact, I don't remember where it was at all! We still have all the trains, tracks, Mr. Topham Hatt figurines, etc. Hundreds of dollars I tell you! Hundreds! Where is it all now? In boxes, under his bed. Sigh. He'll appreciate all that stuff when he gets older, I sure do like to go through my old Star Wars toys!
Yep, that was Wilhoites all right. There's even a cute waitress from time to time! Every time I go there, someone wants to talk about my bike and tell me all about the Bonneville they had back in the day. We gotta do it! We gotta go!

Well let's do it then! May 4-6 is out for me, but other than that I think I'm in for whenever, unless of course Command Chief Wife has something planned I don't know about. What dates look good for y'all? I think Terry and Levi are the ones with schedules we have to work around. I'm thinking a Sat or Sun afternoon would be best. I hate making Terry make that long ride home alone after dark, even if he is all grown up.
